create.ownedcraft.com got attacked last night by a 50 player grief/hack team.

the outcome…..
nothing.
they couldn’t actually grief anything because of the res system.
they couldn’t lag out the server by spamming item drops because regular members can’t drop stuff.
so they resorted to spamming logins and chat with the phrase “pay me to stop”

the server didn’t even burp.
there were maybe 5 ip addresses involved according to STAB.
it got to the point where they lagged themselves out trying to lag out the server.
and according to the nolagg monitor the server didn’t drop below 19 tps through the whole thing.

the funniest thing about this is this…
it would never have been noticed if i didn’t have a habit of checking the chat logs.
because other than the badass “hacker” group, no regular players even tried to log in at that time of night.

I have updated our site today to give it a more professional look.
